At Golden Hour Therapy, I believe therapy is truly a collaborative effort

You are the expert on your life while I utilize therapeutic skills to facilitate exploration, understanding, and skill building to help you reach your goals.

I work hard to ensure my clients feel safe and free of judgment; that they know I genuinely care about them and their wellbeing. The therapeutic relationship is the basis for all change and I take that seriously.

I have over a decade of experience working with a variety of concerns within diverse populations and I believe I can help you reach your therapeutic goals. My approach to therapy is rooted in CBT, and influenced by DBT, motivational interviewing, and harm reduction. I also work to consider the cultural limitations of these theoretical frameworks. This skillset and knowledge allows me flexibility to individualize therapy to each client’s needs while still focusing on skill and growth.

Services

You can expect to meet with me for an initial session where we will explore what brings you to therapy, define your therapeutic goals, and create an individualized plan to reach them. Sessions will be about 45-55 minutes long and are designed to support, explore, and equip you with tools, strategies, and new perspectives and understanding to reach your personal goals.

  • Schedule a free 10 minute phone consultation to determine if Golden Hour Therapy is the right fit for you. During this time, you will have the opportunity to get to know me, ask questions, and find out more about the therapy process. If it isn’t a good fit, that’s OK! I’ve worked to develop relationships with local therapists and am happy to help you find someone who will best meet your needs.

  • Conveniently access therapy from anywhere in Illinois via easy to use, HIPAA compliant software. You can choose to solely utilize teletherapy or just when it’s most convenient with your life and schedule.

  • Central Illinois residents can experience therapy in a calm, safe, and private space face to face.
